An elaborate and ornate cage of white light appears around you, blackness filling indistinct holes in the cage, before the entire cage collapses into a small, rapidly swirling sphere of light and black energy. You then release the energy, which attempts to absorb any number of creatures or objects you choose in a 40-foot cone originating from you. Each unwilling creature must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pulled into the sphere. Each creature and object in the sphere is considered to be incapacitated on a harmless demiplane inaccessible and inescapable short of a wish. The sphere then becomes a weightless adamantine metal sphere three inches in diameter. The sphere has immunity to poison and psychic damage, hit points equal to five times your proficiency bonus, and AC equal to your spell save DC. Any critical hit against the sphere counts as a regular hit.
When you activate the sphere as an action, when the sphere is successfully targeted by a dispel magic spell, or when the sphere drops to zero hit points, all creatures and objects trapped in the sphere are released in a 40-foot cone originating from the sphere, in the same arrangement as when the sphere absorbed them. A creature or object that exits the sphere in an occupied space takes 4d10 force damage and reappears in the nearest unoccupied space.
Casting this spell while a sphere created by this spell cast by you exists causes that sphere to be destroyed.
