Seven translucent tags of shadowy cloth appear, hovering above and obscuring your face until the spell ends. You can use a bonus action to send one of the tags to make contact with one creature within 120 feet of you. When you do so, make a ranged spell attack. On a hit, the target takes 4d12 necrotic damage. Whether you hit or miss, the tag is expended. The spell ends early if you expend the last tag.
If you have four or more tags remaining, while in dim light or darkness, you can use your movement to teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see. The destination spaces of this teleportation must be in dim light or darkness, as well. If you have one to three tags remaining, you have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks while in dim light or darkness.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 8th level or higher, the number of tags created increases by two for each slot level above 7th.
