A cold light engulfs a willing creature you touch, warding the creature against the effects of spells and magical effects. Until the spell ends, when the creature becomes the target of any spell or magical effect that requres a saving throw, roll a d6 and add the number rolled to the creature's saving throw. This spell is susceptible to Counterspell and Dispel Magic.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the warding effect increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd.
