An Antimagic Shield surrounds you tight to your skin, conforming to your shape. The shield gives off a faint shimmer against your skin, a creature can make an intelligence check against your spells save DC to detect the presence of the shield. Until the spell ends, the shield moves with you.
Spells and other magical effects (except those created by an artifact or a deity) that target you directly, can't protrude into it. A slot expended to cast a suppressed spell is consumed. While an effect is suppressed, it doesn't function, but the time it spends suppressed counts against its duration.
Targeted Effects: Spells and other magical effects, such as magic missile and charm person, that target you have no effect.
Non Targeted Effects: Other magical effects that do not directly target you can make it into the shield and are not effected by the shields magic. Magical items are also not effected, unless they are casting a spell or other magical effect directly targeting you.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher the shield can absorb the magic to either bolster your defenses or do damage to those around you. When the shield absorbs a spell make a constitution saving throw. On a successful save you gain 1d6 times the spells level in temporary hit points, on a failed save you do 1d6 times the spells level in force damage to everyone in a 10ft radius centered around you. You take half that damage with a 7th level slot, one quarter that damage with an 8th level slot, and no damage with a 9th level slot. This effects die increases by 1d6 when you cast this with an 8th level slot (2d6), and a 9th level slot (3d6). The duration also increases to 10 minutes with a 7th level slot, 1 hour with an 8th level slot, and 8 hours with a 9th level slot.
