Arcane Sentry

A floating orb of energy - or sentry surrounds you or a target of your choice for the duration, granting bright light to 20 feet and dim light for an additional 20 feet. You can end the spell early by using an action to dismiss it.

In addition, whenever a creature within 5 feet of the effected target hits them with an attack, the attacker takes 1d6 radiant damage for every sentry that surrounds the target.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level, the number of sentries increase by one for each slot above 1st, to a maximum of 5.
