You slash your blade across the air, wielding ancient magic that tears open the Weave itself. You can make a melee spell attack against one target within range, dealing 10d8 slashing damage on a hit, or half as much damage on a miss. If you hit, any spell of 8th level or lower on the target ends. Instead of attacking a creature or object, you can slash at a magical effect of 8th level or lower within range, automatically ending that effect.
The cut in the Weave snaps closed just as quickly as it formed, releasing a blast of pure magical energy in the direction of the slash. Each creature in a 150-foot cone must make a Dexterity saving throw. Any creature, object, or magical effect you targeted with this spell must be within the cone. A creature takes 24d6 force damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a success.
The area within 60 feet of you also becomes magically unstable. Until the start of your next turn, any creature that casts a spell of 1st-level or higher in that area must succeed on a spellcasting ability check or else that spell fails without expending any resources. The DC for the check equals 10 + that spell's level.
This spell damages objects in the area of the cone.

I like this concept and i found the text a little confusing, but is a well rounded spell very themathic, just a little OP. My changes would be making it deal a little less damage, but make it concentration up to a minute to balance it out. 5/5
