Change the taste and, by extension, the smell, of up to 1 cubic foot of nonliving, edible material within range by either improving, impairing, or removing it, your choice.
Improving the flavor will force any creature who ingests it to have disadvantage on Wisdom ability checks and Wisdom saving throws for 1 hour.
Impairing the flavor will force any creature who ingests it to make a Constitution saving throw to avoid spitting it out, and gives them advantage on Wisdom ability checks and Wisdom saving throws for 1 hour.
Removing the flavor will make any flavor or substance within it undetectable to any creature who ingests it.
A creature that uses its action to examine the flavor can determine that it is an illusion with a successful Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC. If a creature discerns the illusion for what it is, the creature is unaffected by the flavor changes.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the maximum area of material increases by 1 cubic foot for each slot level above 2nd.
