A swirling mass of 5-foot-deep acid appears in a 30-foot radius centered on a point you can see within range. The point must be on the ground or in a body of liquid. Until the spell ends, that area is difficult terrain, and any creature that starts its turn there must succeed on a Strength saving throw or take 4d6 bludgeoning damage and be pulled 10 feet toward the center. Regardless of the save result, they take 4d6 acid damage as well. A creature is dissolved if this damage leaves it with 0 hit points.
A dissolved creature and everything it is wearing and carrying, except magic items, are reduced to a puddle of residue. The creature can be restored to life only by means of a true resurrection or a wish spell.
This spell automatically dissolves a Large or smaller nonmagical object. If the target is a Huge or larger object, this spell dissolves a 10-foot- cube portion of it. A magic item is unaffected by this spell.
