You create a cloud of aerosol blood mist centered on a point you choose within range. You shape the mist and it can cover 15 x 5 foot squares from a center point selected by the caster, and extends up to 20 feet in the air; you can extend the height of the mist by 10 feet by sacrificing 2 x squares of area. The mist lasts for the duration or until strong wind disperses the fog, ending the spell. Its area is heavily obscured.
When a creature enters the spell's area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, that creature must make a Constitution saving throw. The creature takes 4d10 necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Creatures are affected even if they hold their breath or don't need to breathe, although constructs may be immune. If they fail their constitution save by more than 6 they are blinded, become disoriented, and cannot take reactions. This blindness lasts 2 rounds after leaving the fog. The disorientation makes the fog difficult to escape, and a creature must roll a 1d8 and move in the direction indicated (1 being north, 2 northeast, etc...)
On any subsequent turn for the duration, you can use an action to either reshape the fog or shift the center point up to 20 feet.
If the caster is within the fog, any damage done to a creature heals the caster for 5 HP.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 4th.
* - (the spell is ignited by pricking the finger for 1 HP of damage)
