You attempt to control all the bones within a 30ft cone in front of you until the spell ends. Any pile of bones or corpse with bones within that area that you designate can be animated into a bone knight if the source bones are medium sized that you have full control over, a giant skeleton if the source bones are huge or larger that you have full control over, or transformed into any nonmagical weapon or piece of armor of your choice, and you gain proficiency with whatever piece of equipment you turn it into for the duration. Any creature with bones in their body within that area that you designate must make a Strength saving throw or have their body be taken full control over by you, and be able to repeat that saving throw to regain control at the end of each of their turns. You can also as a bonus action available while the spell is active, cause any creature that has been taken control over by you to have their bones burst from their body, dealing 5d10 piercing damage to them and paralyzing them for 8 hours, whilst also allowing you to count those bones as a new pile of bones for you to use even after the initial casting of the spell to command, in the same ways specified earlier.
