Base Class: Ranger
The Wind Archer is a ranger who fights almost exclusively with a shortbow. They specialize in close-quarters combat, dodging their enemy's attacks with their superior reflexes. Using their elite training, they can escape from a horde of enemies at a moments notice, or hit something the moment it gets close.
Shortbow Mastery
Once you reach 3rd level, your skill with the shortbow has increased so that you no longer suffer from disadvantage in melee range with it, and you deal an extra 1d4 damage with your shortbow. This extra damage increases as you level up in this subclass.
Untouchable Warrior
At 7th level, your intense training has honed your reflexes, giving you an unarmored defense equal to 10+your DEX modifier+your WIS modifier.
Superior Reflexes
By 11th level, you have mastered the art of melee combat, and you can take the dodge and disengage actions as bonus actions. You also gain an additional +1 to hit with your shortbow.
Master of Winds
By 15th level, your mastery is complete. When an enemy gets close to you, you can use a reaction to hit it with your shortbow, and you have gained expertise in acrobatics.
This is honestly really good and I would totally play it. 👍
