Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Fiery Phoenix have spent years training themselves to manipulate their Ki into Phoenix powers, with that you may rain fiery Ki into your enemies.
Fiery Ki
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can manipulate your Ki into fire powers, inflicting fire damage onto your enemies when using Ki empowered attacks.
Phoenix Defense
Thanks to your training you have a resistance to fire damage.
Rejuvenating Fires
At 6th level, you gain the ability to heal yourself. As an action, you can regain hit points equal to three times your monk level while that happens any melee attack against you deals fire damage to whoever attacked you equal to 1d4+your monk level. You must finish a long rest before you can use this feature again.
Burning Soul
Beginning at 11th level, you can use your Phoenix-like abilities to come back, with your Ki manifesting as Blaze around you, with 30 hit points, this can only be used once per long rest.
When this ability is used every being within 5 feet from you has to make a dexterity saving throw, in a fail save the being takes 1d10 fire damage, in a sucessful save the being takes half that damage.
The Phoenix
At 17th level, you gain the ability to manifest your Ki into a 7 feet tall Phoenix, your attacks start to deal 5d10 fire damage. This ability uses 3 Ki and ends either when you die, or after 1 hour. You can also dismiss this effect with a bonus or free action.
