Base Class: Rogue
Shadow Thieves are a breed of rogue who employ darkness magics to aid them in their work. Where there are shadows, you never know if a Shadow Thief may be lurking in them, using them as fuel for their next strike.
Blink
Starting at 3rd level, you can use the bonus action granted by your Cunning Action to teleport up to half your movement speed to an unoccupied space that you can see.
This movement can be used to create an opening to use your Sneak Attack. You do not need advantage on the attack roll to use your Sneak Attack on an enemy if you use your Blink to teleport to a space within 5 ft of that enemy.
Creature of Darkness
At 3rd level, you become supernaturally accustomed to working in the shadows. You gain darkvision out to 60 ft, and can see through magical darkness.
Additionally, you can Hide when you are lightly obscured by dim light.
Black Pocket
Starting at 9th level, you gain the ability to hide small items within the shadows and summon them at a moment's notice. As an action, you can cause one object you are holding in your hand that weighs no more than 5 lbs to vanish, storing it in a pocket of shadow magic. You can summon an object stored in this way to your hand as a bonus action.
You can store a number of objects equal to your Wisdom modifier. If you attempt to store another object while at capacity, you fail to do so.
Sculpt Shadows
By 13th level, you can manipulate the shadows around you to cast certain spells. You can cast blindness/deafness and darkness once each. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for this spell.
Once you cast a spell using this feature, you cannot use this feature to cast that spell again until you finish a long rest.
Dark Agility
When you reach 17th level, you have learned to move through shadows in an instant and attack with even greater speed. You can now Blink as an action or bonus action. Whenever you blink, you can make an attack as part of that same action.
Additionally, an attack made as part of the blink can benefit from your Sneak Attack even if you have already used it this turn, but you can’t use your Sneak Attack against the same target more than once in a turn.
