Way of Balance

Monks who choose to take the Way of Balance are major believers and assisting creators of balance and peace, of light and darkness. These monks channel the powers of the universe, namely order and chaos, into their overall strengths and weakness'.

Word of Order And Chaos

You can cast Calm Emotions and Erratic Emotions Spell by using 2 Ki points. Additionally, you can cast light as a cantrip, and Darkness 2 at level 3. Then add one more casting charge at level 5, 8, 11, 14, and 17.

Body of Light and Darkness

At level 6 you gain the ability to give the Light and Dark sides of balance physical forms through your own body. You can use 2 Ki points to use your bonus action and flip a coin; heads you take on the Light transformation, tails you take on the Dark transformation. Additionally, every Ki point past 2 is another minute you hold the transformation (You spend the ki points after you transform, before your next turn). Lastly, your attacks count as magical to overcome non-magical resistance while transformed.

Favored By The Universe

At level 11, when you roll for an attack, you can use this ability to automatically hit a creature with the attack. Alternatively, on a skill check or saving throw, you can choose to automatically succeed as if you had rolled a 20. You can apply this bonus after you roll, but before you know the result. Any time before you regain the use of this ability, the DM can have you automatically fail an attack roll, skill check, or saving throw as if you had rolled a 1. You can use this ability once per short rest.

Silver Warrior

At level 17, you learn to near fully control your powers over light and dark. You now can choose which transformation to take on between light and darkness, and can spend 5 Ki points to gain the effects of both, creating the silver warrior. Additionally, any of the three transformations last up to 10 minutes. Additionally, you can now cast your spells infinitely, but they cost 2 ki point at their base level, also they can be casted at higher levels by using a ki point more than two to get one more level on the spell you cast.
