Base Class: Artificer
While every artificer can boast of the ability to infuse items with magic, Soul Crafters create items with an almost spiritual quality. By imbuing their essence into their creations, Items crafted by a Soul Crafter are extensions of themselves in addition to being potent magic items in their own right.
Designer note: Due to the limits of D&D Beyond, I was unable to get all of the features of this class to work. Most notably, the Infusion specialist feature. Luckily D&D Beyond does allow you to manually override your infusion limit however I couldn't adjust the number of Infusions known nor the levels at which you gain access to them. Work with your DM to account for this. Additionally, D&D Beyond wont publish anything that adds spells not included in the basic rules. Due to this, you will have to manually add some of the spells from the Soul Crafter Spells Table or, if you don't have access to the material these spells come from, you will have to decide on a suitible replacement spell with your DM. I will update this if D&D Beyond ever expands their homebrew capabilities.
Tool Proficiency
At 3rd level, you gain proficiency with smith’s tools. If you already have this proficiency, you gain proficiency with one other type of artisan’s tools of your choice.
Soul Crafter Spells
At 3rd level, you always have certain spells prepared after you reach particular levels in this class, as shown in the Soul Crafter Spells table. These spells count as artificer spells for you, but they don’t count against the number of artificer spells you prepare.

Infusion Specialist
Starting at 3rd level and then again at 5th, 9th, and 15th levels in this class, you learn additional infusions from the artificer infusion list. Furthermore, you gain the ability to infuse one additional item at 5th, and 15th levels in this class. These are in addition to those you gain from natural artificer progression. Lastly, infusions that have a level requirement are halved for you and you can use items imbued with one of your infusions as a spellcasting focus for your spells.
Imbued Resonance
Also at 3rd level, as an action, you can target a creature attuned to an item imbued with one of your infusions. When you do this, you immediately learn the distance and direction of the targeted creature as well as their current hit points and any spells or conditions affecting them. You can do this a number of times per day equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of one). You regain all expended uses after a long rest. Additionally, creatures within 30 feet of you that are also attuned to an item imbued with one of your infusions are considered proficient with the attuned item. At 9th level, the range of this ability extends to 45 feet.
Spiritual Conduit
At 5th level, whenever you cast a spell of first level or higher, choose a creature within 45 feet of you that you can see, that is also attuned to an item imbued with one of your infusions. They gain a number of temporary hit points equal to the spell level cast plus your Intelligence modifier. While they have these temporary hit points, they get a plus one bonus to their AC and saving throws. At 15th level, you can target two creatures with this ability by splitting the temporary hit points between them.
Infusion Savant
At 9th level, when you cast a spell, you can choose to cast the spell as if it originated from a willing creature attuned to an item imbued with one of your infusions that you can see. Spells cast this way use your concentration, spell attack modifier and spell save DC but for all other purposes are treated as if the creature you selected cast the spell. Additionally, spells you cast that normally have a range of self, can target anyone attuned to an item imbued with one of your infusions.
Superior Infusions
At 15th level, you can now infuse items on a short rest. Additionally, you can infuse a non-magical item with two infusions, or by expending two infusions, you can infuse a magical object with one. You cannot use this feature to duplicate or stack magical effects and features. You also cannot infuse a sentient item or an artifact with this feature.
