Bard
Base Class: Bard

Those who attend the college of The Macabre are often chosen from cultists, outcasts, the dregs of society who find a unique beauty in the transition between life and death or in the grim finality of the end that awaits us all, they take pleasure in life with undeath. The college has un documented elaborate, and fictitious rumors floating around it that it originated in the domains of dread... probably just rumors... right?

Song of Awakening

Starting at 3rd level, when you join the College of the Macabre, your music can stir even the dead. As a bonus action, you can expend one Bardic Inspiration die to raise a corpse or pile of bones that you can see within 30 feet of you, creating a zombie or skeleton under your control.

The creature created gains a bonus to it's attack rolls equal to your proficiency modifier. They gain Temporary HP equal to the number you rolled on the bardic inspiration die.

It remains animate and under your control for a minute, at which point the effect ends and it becomes inanimate once more. While the effect lasts, you can use your bonus action to verbally give it a general command, such as to guard a passageway or to attack hostile creatures, which it will then follow until given another command in this way. In combat, the creature shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. If you have more than one creature summoned in this way, you choose which order they take their turns in.

ENCORE!!!

At 3rd level, you learn the Spare the Dying cantrip. It counts as a bard cantrip for you, but it does not count against your number of cantrip known.

Necrodancer

Beginning at level 6, your backup dancers know how to keep the show going, even at the cost of their own lives. When a creature that you can see within 5 feet of one of your undead summoned with Song of Awakening is hit by an attack, you can use your reaction to command the creature to place itself in the path of the attack instead, causing the attack to hit it instead of the intended target. However, if the attack reduces them to 0 hp, any excess damage is dealt to the intended target.

Additionally, you can assist your allies in returning from the brink of death. Being unconscious does not cause creatures to be able to not hear you for the purposes of your bardic inspiration feature.

Friends on the Other side.

Beginning at level 14, when you use your Song of Awakening feature, you can choose to create a ghoul or a ghast rather than a skeleton or zombie

In addition, whenever you use your Song of Awakening feature and you roll your inspiration die to determine the amount of temporary hp added, add an amount to the roll equal to twice your charisma modifier.
