Base Class: Bard
An eleven man wears a simple porcelain mask. White non-descript, it’s mouth drawn in a tight unopened smile. Some boards are paid to tell stories and sing songs. He is paid for Silence.
A halfling woman is moving through a nobles mansion without making a sound. She searches through the lord’s desk even while he sleeps next door, she knocks a vase to the ground and it shatters into pieces silently. She shrugs, and smiles as she holds the documents she came for to the flame.
A human man wipes the blood from his knife, and sheathing it, he takes up his shovel and begins to dig. He feels no remorse for his victims, they knew something they shouldn’t, that wasn’t their fault, but they should have taken the damn coin.
Fighting Style: Two Weapon Fighting
When you join the College of Silence at 3rd level you gain the Two-Weapon Fighting fighting style. Additionally you may cast spells that require a somatic component even with a weapon in each hand, as long as both of those weapons are daggers.
Muffle, Dampen, Deny
When you join the College of Silence at 3rd level, you have developed the means to partially obfuscate the words of those around you even as they leave their lips. When a creature that you can hear within 60 feet of you casts a spell or uses an ability that requires a verbal component you can use your reaction to expend one of your uses of Bardic Inspiration, rolling a Bardic Inspiration die and subtracting the number rolled from the creature’s attack roll or granting all targets of the spell a bonus to their saving throw equal to the number rolled. You can choose to use this feature after the creature makes its roll, but before the DM determines whether the attack roll or saving throw succeeds or fails, or before the creature deals its damage.
Silence Begins Silence Remains
Starting at 6th level you learn how to move with your Silence and how to strike with it. You have advantage on all attacks against a target effected by the Silence spell. Additionally, when you cast the Silence spell you may use a bonus action to magically teleport to within 5ft of any creature effected by the spell and make a melee attack against it.
Burning Words
You are Silence. Silence is you. Starting at 14th level you have learned to burn your unspoken words as fuel. You let them build up inside you and you burn them when it is most advantageous to you. After spending 24 hours without speaking you may cast one spell that has a verbal component but no material component without expending a spell slot. You can burn the words you steal from others in the fire of your Silence as well. When you use the counterspell ability to prevent a creature form casting a spell you may recover a spell slot of half the level of the spell you countered or lower.
