Gambler

An archetype for the charismatic rogue. Your charisma isn’t just indicative of how well you talk, nor your good looks, but also your pose, posture, microexpressions, and the way you carry yourself. With the right combination of bluffing, skill, and dumb luck you can preform grand feats.

Bonus Proficiency

At 3rd level you gain proficiency with one gaming set of your choice.

Poker Face

At 3rd level insight checks made against you have a penalty equal to your charisma modifier (minimum of 1).

Confidence Camouflage

At 3th level you can veil yourself in an air of confidence to blend into a crowd and hide in plain sight. When making a Stealth check you can choose to use your charisma modifier instead of your dexterity modifier, if applicable to the situation (DM’s discretion).

Fate Tempter

At 9th level when you roll a d20 you can choose to reroll it once, but you must take the second roll. You can use this feature once per long rest.

Rogue's Roulette

At 13th level when you are hit, you can use your reaction to roll a d6. If you roll a 2-6 you swiftly dodge the incoming attack and take 0 damage, if you roll a 1 the attack against you becomes a critical hit. This feature can’t be used if the incoming attack is already a critical hit. This feature can be used once per short or long rest at level 13, twice per short or long rest at level 16, and 3 times per short or long rest at level 19.

Dead Man's Bluff

At 17th level as a reaction to hitting 0 Hit Points, you can make a charisma saving throw plus your proficiency bonus against the total damage taken, on a success you stay at 0 hit points, but remain conscious until the end of your next turn. During this bluff your speed is halved and you can only take 1 action or bonus action, no reactions, and have disadvantage on saving throws. Any damage taken in this state results in you immediately falling unconscious and losing one death save, two if it’s a critical hit. You can use this feature once per long rest.
