Base Class: Fighter
A mercenary with a haunting past, you have been put through many struggles to survive throughout your life. You aren’t just a trained warrior, but a survivor with experience to last a lifetime.
Heavy Weapon Master
When you choose the Archetype at 3rd level, you gain mastery over heavy weapon. Any melee weapon you use with the heavy property, also benefits from the reach property.
At 10th level, you also gain the ability to wield 2 handed weapons in one hand.
Counter Attack
When a creature within melee range does damage to you, you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against them. You can do this a number of times equal to your PB, regaining uses when you finish a long rest. You also regain a usage upon landing a critical strike (to a maximum of your PB). Additionally, upon making a counter attack, you can inflict one of the following effects on the target:
- The target's movement speed is reduced by 1d3*5 feet.
- The creature takes your Strength modifier in damage a second time.
- The next time a creature makes an attack roll against the target, they may add your strength modifier to their attack roll.
Sweeping Blow
At 7th level When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack using a heavy weapon, you can carry the hit onto another creature within range so long as the original attack roll would hit the second creature. Creatures hit after the first take half of the original rolled damage.
At 15th level, you can hit a third creature, and at 18th level you can hit four.
Pursuit of Battle
At 7th level your movement speed increases by 10ft, and creatures have disadvantage on opportunity attacks against you.
Combat Expert
At 10th level, when a creature hits you with a melee weapon attack and you are wielding a heavy melee weapon, you can use your reaction to block using your weapon. Make a strength save, the DC is equal to the attackers attack roll. If you succeed, you take no damage and can use your counter attack ability on the attacker.
Unbreakable Will
You may add your Constitution score to all saving throws.
Unstoppable Force
Starting at 18th level, you can keep fighting despite grievous wounds. If you drop to 0 hit points and don't die outright, you can make a DC 10 Constitution saving throw. If you succeed, you drop to 1 hit point instead and regain an amount of hit points equal to your constitution modifier multiplied by 2. Each time you use this feature after the first, the DC increases by 5. When you finish a short or long rest, the DC resets to 10.
Your Constitution and Strength scores increase by 2, as does the maximums for those scores.
