Base Class: Barbarian
Barbarians who take this path feel their fighting spirit well up within them and make them into a monster all their own. Whether it is a curse handed down from generation to generation, or the side effect of a “blessing” from a god, the fury within causes changes in the barbarians that have gone down this path whether or not they have chosen to fight monsters as a monster.
Monster’s Rampage
Starting at level 3, when you kill a creature on your turn you may use your reaction to turn to the nearest enemy within 10 feet and make additional attack.
Monstrous Form
Starting at level 6, when you rage, you assume a monstrous form and grow one size larger. You decide the appearance of this form. Upon assuming this form you gain the following benefits:
1. Enemies that can see you within 30 feet must make a Wisdom saving throw. The DC of which is equal to your Constitution modifier + 8 + your proficiency bonus. A failed save means that enemy is frightened of you. Enemies who are frightened in this way may make a Wisdom saving throw at the end of their turn to end the frightened condition, with disadvantage if they can see you.
2. You are immune to the frightened condition and you gain advantage on attacks against enemies that have the frightened condition.
3. If you do not already gain temporary hit points from a racial feature, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Constitution score +1d6.
Gruesome Critical
When you reach level 10, while raging, you score a critical hit if you roll a 19 or a 20. If you do score a critical hit, roll a d4
On a:
1. You knock the target prone.
2. You strike the target’s legs, crippling them and dropping them to half speed.
3. You cause a grievous wound and severe bleeding. Target has disadvantage on all attack and saving throws and takes 1d6 dmg at the end of every turn until the wound is healed by spell or item.
4. If the target is same size or smaller and has a head you perform a decapitation and instantly kill the target.
Monsters Like Me
Starting at level 14 when you enter your rage you embolden your allies and gain strength from them joining in on the mayhem. On raging, you can choose a number of allies equal to your proficiency bonus within 30 feet of you. These allies are immune to the frightened condition and gain advantage on attacks against enemies that have the frightened condition. When you use this feature you can do additional damage equal to the number of allies that accept this feature.
