Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks of the Way of Many Naps follow a tradition that values restfulness and recuperating the mystic energy of ki. They learn techniques to put their opponents to sleep, manipulate ki while asleep to heal their bodies, and wake up in an advanced meditation that can protect them from harm.

Naps for All!

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can use your ki to put your enemies to sleep. As an action, you can spend 1 ki point to cast sleep without providing material components. You can cast it at a higher level if you spend additional ki.

Quick Snooze

At 6th level, you gain the ability to enter a restful sleep on command. As an action, you can cause yourself to fall unconscious, granting you the benefits of a short rest. You awaken after 1 minute, when you take damage, or someone uses an action to shake or slap you awake. You must finish a long rest before you can use this feature again.

Sleepy Tranquility

Beginning at 11th level, you wake up in a special meditative state that surrounds you with an aura of sleepy peacefulness. At the end of a short rest, you gain the effect of a sanctuary spell that lasts until the start of your next short or long rest (the spell can end early as normal). The saving throw DC for the spell equals 8 + your Wisdom modifier + your proficiency bonus.

Knockout Strike

At 17th level, your mastery of naps grants you the ability to put any creature to sleep with a single blow. Whenever you use your Stunning Strike feature, the targeted creature falls unconscious for 10 minutes on a failed Constitution saving throw. The creature awakens if it takes damage or if someone uses an action to shake or slap it awake.
