Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks that follow the Way of Wrath use their Ki for acts of vengeance and as a show of power and dominance. The Way of Wrath is taught to those who can control it, and requires incredible will to use properly. This training also serves to teach the monk to show restraint, to use their power for good and to protect others. Some monks become great angels of protection, dishing out heavy blows to forces of evil, while others fall to the corruptive nature of their strength.

Deep Impacts

Beginning at 3rd level, you can expend one Ki point at the start of your turn to cause all your attacks until the start of your next turn to deal an extra 1d4 unarmed strike damage.

Knockback: If you move at least 5 feet in a direct line to an enemy and hit them with an Attack while using your Deep Impacts feature, you can force them to make a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + Dex/Str Modifier + Proficiency bonus) or be knocked back up to 10 feet and fall prone. The enemy automatically succeeds the save if they are 2 size categories larger than you.

The additional damage increases to a d6 at 6th level, a d8 at 11th level, and a d10 at 16th level.

Wrath Aura

Beginning at 6th level, as a bonus action you can expend 2 Ki points to create your Wrath Aura. This aura extends out 15 feet and lasts for an hour or until you are incapacitated or die. Choose two options from the list below. These options are active while your aura is active. You get additional choices at 9th, 12th, and 15th level

Crippling Blows

All Unarmed Attacks that hit a creature reduce it's speed by 5 feet. This effect lasts until the end of its next turn.

Decisive Attacks

At the beginning of your turn, you can choose for your Unarmed Attacks to deal slashing or peircing damage. This change lasts until the start of your next turn.

Additionally, you can spend 1 Ki point to change the damage type to Force. This change lasts for 1 minute. While your damage type is Force, you score a critical hit on a 19 or 20 and your attacks deal double damage to objects and structures.

Distant Aura

Your Wrath Aura extends out an additional 15 feet, for a total of 30 feet.

Enhanced Impacts

You no longer have to move to use the knockback feature of your Deep Impacts.

Additionally, if you roll a 1 on your damage die for an unarmed attack while using your Deep Impacts feature, you can reroll once and must use the new roll.

Hastening Aura

All allied creatures, including yourself, gain an additional 15 feet of movement while within your Wrath Aura.

Heavy Strike

Once per turn, you can choose to attack with a -10 penalty to the attack roll, but automatically crit if you hit.

Intimidating Presence

You have Advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) checks made to influence creatures within your Wrath Aura.

Remote Strike

You can expend 1 Ki point to make your Unarmed Attacks originate from an ally within your aura until the start of your next turn.

Strengthening Alliance

Friendly creatures in your Wrath Aura can add your Deep Impacts damage die to their attacks once per turn.

Wrathful Soar

You gain a flying speed of 15 feet.

Force Dash

Starting at 11th level, once per turn as a part of your Attack action, you can teleport up to 20 feet, finishing adjacent to the creature you are attacking. This movement can trigger your Deep Impacts knockback feature.

Maelstrom of Blows

Starting at 17th level, when using your Flurry of Blows, you can make 3 attacks instead of 2.

Additionally, creatures your size or smaller have disadvantage on the save for your Deep Impacts feature.

Additionally, whenever you damage a creature while using your Deep Impacts feature, you can knock them back an additional 5 feet per attack you hit against them that turn, provided they fail the save.
