The psionicists power comes from within, and they alone gives it shape. They look inward to the essence of their own being, and gain control of the subconscious. Through extraordinary discipline, contemplation, and self-awareness, the psionicist unlocks the full potential of their mind.

All psionic powers belong to one of six disciplines: clairsentience, psychokinesis, psychometabolism, psychoportation, telepathy, and metapsionics. Within each discipline are psionic abilities and powers.

Psionicists are able to use sorcery points to effect their powers. 

Psychic Energy

You tap into a deep wellspring of psychic power within yourself. This wellspring is represented by Psychic Energy, which allow you to use a variety of psionic powers.

Psionicists may not use Sorcerer spells unless it has a prerequisite for a Psionicists or explicitly states that it is available for the Psionicist in its description.

Disciplines

You have the ability to project the powers of the mind that may appear as sorcerous spells but they are not of a magical nature. They are manifestations of your force of will. For all intents and purposes, you can cast spells from the Sorcerer list but since your powers come from within instead of tapping into the fabric of magic, your Sorcery spells do not require any somatic, verbal or material components. 

You also have access to new psionic powers that have the specific prerequisite of Sorcerer-Aberrant Mind (These new psionic power 'spells' are available on DnDBeyond Homebrew)

Clairsentience

You concentrate on disciplines of gaining knowledge that is beyond the capacity of normal senses. This is the psionic power of awareness and sentience.

Metapsionic

You augment or amplify other psionic disciplines whether it be others or your own.

Psychokinetic

You have the ability to manifest mental force in the physical world.

Psychometabolic

You have the powers of mind over body and are able to manipulate your body to extreme limits.

Psychoportive

You have the ability to move from one location to another without crossing space.

Telepathic

You can directly interact with another mind.

 

Speed of Thought

Psionicists are not encumbered by the physical limitations of the world or rotes of magic. They may elect to use their Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma modifier to add to initiative

Discipline Affinity

 

Bifurcated Focus

The psionicist can multi-task their mind to focus on two things at once.  This includes attacking physically while using a psionic discipline. It may also allow using two psionic powers that both require concentration.

Trifurcated Focus

The psionicist is able to splinter their mind into three autonomous parts allowing them to perform an additional psionic power simultaneously.

Metaphysical Presence

The psionicist may extend their psionic power range to the extent of their awareness.
