Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks of the Way of the Beasts are primal martial artist, whether armed or unarmed. They learn techniques to strike effectively their opponents like a solitary predator or render them defenseless for the pack. They manipulate ki to let their primal instinct flow through their veins and scare their prey.

Beasts Technique

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can manipulate your enemy’s ki when you harness your own. Whenever you hit a creature with one of the attacks granted by your Flurry of Blows, you can impose one of the following effects on that target:

  • It must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be restrained by you.
  • It must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be slowed (An affected target by slowed will have its speed reduced by half and it takes a −2 penalty to AC. The target must make a Constitution saving throw at the end of each of its turn.)
  • It can’t take reactions until the end of your next turn.

Feral power

At 6th level, you gain the ability to add your Strength modifier to your melee attack roll and you add 10 feet of movement. As an action, you channel your feral power and for one minute you can feel your muscle pulsating animalistic strength. You must finish a long rest before you can use this feature again.

Beast roar

Beginning at 11th level,  you can spend two ki points to release an intense roar. Enemies within 30 feet who hear your roar will  be frightened of you if they fail a WIS saving throw.

Predator precision

Beginning at 17th level, as you get closer to the beast inside of you, you can concentrate your ki to easily strike a weak point of your foe. When you make an attack roll on a 19 on a d20 you can spend three ki points to turn it into a critical hit.
