Artificer
Base Class: Artificer

These artificers have a curious psychic awakening within them and spend much time trying to unravel the mysterious strands of time, reality and destiny through dreaming. In their dreams, they may find that these connections make interesting crossings, almost like a woven pattern. And if a pattern exists, why not weave an alternative destiny for yourself? They may start out as simple fashionistas and artisans, but will slowly evolve into beings with a higher understanding of the world, aided by their aberrant dreams, and possibly even attracting the attention of the gods through their innate divination abilities. Or maybe they are just mad hatters whose beliefs got to their heads after all, who knows?

Dreamer Tools

3rd-level Psionic Weaver feature

You gain proficiency with weaver’s tools. If you already have this tool proficiency, you gain proficiency with one other type of artisan’s tools of your choice. When you use weaver's tools to craft or modify an item, you can hone your psionic abilities to manifest pure dream energy into magical thread that cannot be broken.

Psionic Weaver Spells

You always have certain spells prepared after you reach particular levels in this class, as shown in the Psionic Weaver Spells table. These spells count as artificer spells for you, but they don’t count against the number of artificer spells you prepare.

Psychic Infiltrator

3rd-level Psionic Weaver feature

You weave the threads of fate around you to make you go unseen by those you wish to hide from, allowing you to strike your enemies swiftly and stealthy. Once per Short Rest, and as an action, you can use your weaver’s tools to form an illusory barrier around you to keep you hidden. This effect lasts for 1 minute or until you take damage.

Selective Stealth. While the illusory barrier is activated, choose up to 4 allies. As long as they remain within 60 feet of you, they can see you but any creatures not chosen see only a faint shimmering image.

Mirage. You have a +5 bonus to all Stealth checks and all attack rolls against you are made with disadvantage.

Dream Stride. Your walking speed increases by 5 feet.

Extra Attack

5th-level Psionic Weaver feature

Your knowledge extends and the near-limitless power you have in your dreams begins to leak into reality. You can attack twice, rather than once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

Fortitude of Mind

9th-level Psionic Weaver feature

At 9th level, your mind has been trained to resist the effects of magic that may alter its function.

You have advantage on any magical effects to affect you with the charmed condition, and you cannot be put to sleep by magic. Also, due to your extended capacity for controlling your psionic abilities, the maximum number of items you can infuse at once increases by 2

Loom of Fate

15th-level Psionic Weaver feature

At 15th level, you have such a profound understanding of the intricate strands that connect people to their destiny, that you can temporarily rearrange them.

You can spend 10 minutes with your weaver’s tools to foresee the future of a up to 5 allies (which can include yourself). For an hour after after that, the chosen creatures cannot be surprised. On top of that each of your allies gain one Foresight Dice. This dice is a d12, and can be added to any ability check, attack roll, or saving throw of the player’s choice. Alternatively, when an enemy makes an attack roll against a player, the player can roll their Foresight Dice and choose to reduce the number rolled from the enemies attack roll. Any Foresight Dice that are not spend within an hour are lost. You cannot use this feature again before finishing a Long Rest.
