Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Blessed by a deity of the moon, your blood draws on the power of moonlight. While many praise the burning sun, the gentle glow of the moon guides those who still themselves to listen.

Lunar Power

Starting at 1st level, you can empower your spells with moonlight. When you make a spell attack roll or force a creature to make a saving throw against one of your spells, you can choose to add 1d4 to your spell attack roll, or substract the same amount from the creature's saving throw. If the damage type is radiant, the roll becomes 2d4. You can do so after the creature rolls but before any effects of the roll occur.

You can use this ability a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier. After that, you can only use it again by spending 2 sorcery points. You regain all expended uses upon completing a long rest.

Moonlit Eyes

Starting at 1st level, your eyes glow with a soft moonlight, and your eyes will never be darkened so long as you live. You are immune to the Blinded condition.

Enhanced Moonlight

Starting at 6th level, you gain resistance to radiant damage.

Additionally, you can spend 2 sorcery points to change the damage type of any spell you cast to become radiant damage.

Finally, you learn the Moonbeam spell. It does not count against your number of spells known.

Moonlit Step

Starting at 14th level, you can vanish into the moonlight. As a bonus action, you can teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space that you can see. If you are in moonlight, the distance you can teleport increases to 60 feet.

Embodied Moon

Starting at 18th level, you can become a beacon of moonlight. Spending 6 sorcery points as a bonus action, you gain the following benefits for 1 minute:

  • Your entire body glows with silvery light. Dim light emits from you to a distance of 30 feet.
  • Creatures within the aforementioned light must make a Constitution saving throw, taking 2d10 radiant damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. A shapechanger makes the saving throw with disadvantage, and reverts to its original form unable to assume a different form until it leaves the light if it fails it's saving throw. This saving throw is subjectable to your Lunar Power.
  • You can use your Lunar Power without expending uses.
  • Creatures within the light that are resistant to radiant damage are not resistant to this ability's radiant damage or the radiant damage from spells you cast, and creatures that take radiant damage normally are vulnerable to this ability's radiant damage and the radiant damage from spells you cast.
