Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks of the Way of the Brute are the ultimate masters of brute strength combat, whether armed or unarmed. They learn techniques to put more into their punches, manipulate ki to withstand harm to their bodies, and practice advanced meditation that can protect them from harm.

Body of Steel

Your body has been hardened by your training and past battles, to the point where for you withstanding an attack is as effective as avoiding being hit. At 3rd level when you become part of this tradition, you can use your STR Modifier in place of your DEX modifier to your Armor Class when not wearing armor. You still add your Wisdom Modifier to your AC, as per the Unarmored Defence feature.

Fists of Iron

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you’re able to strike with your fists with especially brutal force. Whenever you hit with your unarmed strike or Fury of Blows and deal damage, the weapon’s damage increases by an amount based on your level in this class.

Fury of Blows

This replaces Flurry of Blows. Immediately after you take the Attack action on your turn, you can spend 1 ki point to make ONE unarmed strike as a bonus action, but you roll double your normal unarmed strike damage dice.

Brutish Endurance

At 6th level, you gain the ability to withstand damage. You can spend 1 ki points as a reaction to halve any bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.

Brute Speed

When you spend Ki points to use Fury of Blows you can spend 1 Ki point to make TWO unarmed strike with second strike rolling your normal unarmed strike damage.

Unworldly Strength

The next time you hit with an unarmed strike you can spend 3 Ki points to briefly gain unworldly strength, increasing your strength by 100 and thus your strength modifier by 50.
