Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

The water priest focuses on the use of ebb and flow—one of the fundamental forces of the universe—that sustains all life. The gods of life promote vitality and health through healing the sick and wounded, caring for those in need, creating balance among all living creatures. Almost any non-evil deity can claim influence over this domain, particularly agricultural deities, water gods, gods of healing or endurance, and gods of home and community.

The water priest is the perfect balance of damage and healing for your next campaign.

Nature's Blessing

When you choose this path at 1st level, you gain expertise in Nature.

Disciple of Life

Also starting at 1st level, your healing spells are more effective. Whenever you use a spell of 1st level or higher to restore hit points to a creature, the creature regains additional hit points equal to 2 + the spell’s level.

Channel Divinity: Preserve Life

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to heal the badly injured.

As an action, you present your holy symbol and evoke healing energy that can restore a number of hit points equal to five times your cleric level. Choose any creatures within 30 feet of you, and divide those hit points among them. This feature can restore a creature to no more than half of its hit point maximum. You can’t use this feature on an undead or a construct.

Ebb and Flow

When you cast a spell of 1st level or higher that restores HP to a creature, you deal half of the heal as damage to an enemy creature within 5ft of the healed creature.

If you over heal a creature you only deal damage equal to half of the healed amount.

Example, your healed target has 15 missing health and you heal him for 20, you only deal 8 damage not 10. If you heal a target with full health it deals no damage. You can heal an enemy to damage an enemy as well.

Water Elemental

The water priest has summons a Water Elemental this elemental's health is equal to half of the water priest's health. It's attack is 1 plus the level of the water priest. All other stats refer to the sheet and the monster rolls for its own initiative and movement.

Potent Spellcasting

Starting at 17th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric spell or cantrip. This includes damage dealt with ebb and flow.
