Blood Hunter
Base Class: Blood Hunter

A cowboy themed subclass for blood hunter meant to focus on ranged weapons and crimson rites

Gunslinger's Rite

When using a ranged weapon, you can activate a Crimson Rite without a bonus action. You can choose an order to rotate your attacks between Rite of the Flame, Rite of the Storm, and Rite of the Frozen. Alternatively, you can roll a d6 to decide which Rite gets added. You can choose to add the Rite onto any ranged weapon attack.

1-2: Rite of the Flame
3-4: Rite of the Storm
5-6: Rite of the Frozen

When using you still take 1 hemocraft die of damage

Firearm Proficiency

You gain the Firearm Specialist feat

  • You gain proficiency with Firearms.
  • If you roll a misfire on an attack with a firearm, you can use your reaction to roll a d20. If the number rolled is higher than the weapon’s misfire score, the firearm does not misfire. You cannot use this feature of this feat again until you complete a short or long rest.
  • When you use the Attack action and attack with a one-handed weapon, you can use a bonus action to attack with a loaded firearm with the light property you are holding.

Fast Draw

You can use Fast Draw to gain an extra reaction. Has 3 charges per short/long rest

Radiant Shot

Once per long rest, you can use Radiant Shot and add 2 hemocraft die to your attack

Upgraded Gunslinger's Rite

Your Gunslinger's Rite has been upgraded to now include esoteric rites. Choose an order or roll a d6

1: Rite of the Flame
2: Rite of the Frozen
3: Rite of the Storm
4: Rite of the Dead
5: Rite of the Oracle
6: Rite of the Roar

High Noon

Starting at 18th level, when you are hit with a ranged attack by an enemy, you have advantage on your next ranged attack against the same enemy. If that attack hits, add 2d12 to damage
