Ranger
Base Class: Ranger

Moving swiftly across the battlefield brandishing twin weapons, Slicing Winds Rangers faced their foes with the full force of a mighty hurricane. Commanding the wind to fly though the air like an acrobat while grinding enemies in your barrage of blades. Mastering the art of this subclass involves detaching oneself from the chains that bind them to float with the breeze as a drifting leaf equipped with swords.

Flurry of Two Blades

3rd-level Slicing Winds feature

Upon joining the Slicing Winds subclass at level 3, you become incredibly quick with your offhand attack, striking where your opponent's guard is dropped.

Proficiency bonus times per long rest, when you use your bonus action to engage in two-weapon fighting, before or after you make the offhand attack you can quickly fly up to 15 feet in any direction without provoking attacks of opportunity. Until the end of your turn, you can make one additional offhand weapon attack.

You can’t use this feature until you complete a long rest unless you expend a spell slot of 1st level or higher to use this feature.

Slicing Wind Magic

3rd-level Slicing Winds feature

At 3rd level, you learn the gust cantrip if you don’t already know it.

You also learn an additional spell when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown in the Slicing Winds Spells table. Each spell counts as a ranger spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of ranger spells you know

Slicing Winds Spells
Ranger Level Spells
3rd longstrider, gust
5th gust of wind
9th fly
13th freedom of movement
17th control winds

Gusting Blades

7th-level Slicing Winds feature

At 7th level, your attacks are so quick, they pull violent wind currents in their direction, sending the targets of your attacks flying.

Once per turn when you hit a target with a melee attack, you can force that creature to make a Strength saving throw against your spell save DC or be knocked 10 feet in any direction of your choice.

Hurricane of Swords

11th-level Slicing Winds feature

At 11th level, Rangers of the Slicing Winds enclave prove that a frightening fast offense makes an incredible defense.

On your turn, every time you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, your armor class temporarily increases by +1 to a maximum bonus equal to your proficiency bonus.

This temporary AC bonus lasts until the start of your next turn or you are knocked unconscious.

Evisceration

15th-level Slicing Winds feature

Reaching 15th level, you’ve become a master of your enclave, capable of dealing out lightning-quick strikes before your opponent can even blink.

Now whenever you use your Flurry of Two Blades feature, you can make one additional attack when you engage in two-weapon fighting for a total of three offhand weapon attacks!

Additionally, if you roll for initiative and have no uses of your Flurry of Two Blades remaining, you regain one use of the feature.
