Hemomancy
Starting at 1st level, you are able to sacrifice your own life force to your pact vampire in exchange for arcane power. As a bonus action, you can roll 1d10 + your warlock level and reduce your health by that number, then regain 1 spell slot. This feature can be done a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all uses on a long rest. This feature cannot bring your health down below 1 hit point. If you are at 1 hit point, you cannot use this feature.
At 6th level, using this feature will cause your next warlock spell that deals damage to deal increased damage equal to the amount rolled. This does not apply to area of effect spells such as fireball.
Draining Blast
At level 1, dealing damage with your eldritch blast will cause you to regain hit points equal to your warlock level.
Blood Thirst
Starting at 6th level, you can tap into your newly acquired thirst for blood to enhance your vampiric abilities. Twice per long rest, you can activate Blood Thirst as a bonus action to gain the following abilities for one minute:
- Any damage you deal with spells will also heal you for half the amount. This stacks with your draining blast.
- You gain sensitivity to sunlight. While in sunlight, you gain disadvantage on attack and spellcasting rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.
- You have resistance to all non-magical weapons, but you take double damage from silver weapons and radiant damage.
- You can drink the blood from a creature, provided you win a grapple check against them, or if they are incapacitated or restrained. Upon drinking their blood, you deal 2d12 damage to them and heal yourself for that much. You also regain 1 spell slot and your Blood Thirst ends.
At 14th level, you gain additional bonuses:
- Your Blood Thirst no longer ends until you drink the blood of another creature.
- If you are reduced to 0 health points, you instead transform into your misty form, and can reform into your original self the next turn with 1 health point. However, if you are reduced to 0 health points by radiant damage, silvered weapons, or if you are reduced to 0 health points while you are in direct sunlight, you will instead turn into ash and die. You can also die this way if your heart is destroyed.
- You gain 1 legendary resistance. This allows you to turn a failed saving throw that you make into a success.
Sadomasochism
At 6th level, using your Hemomancy feature will also cause your next leveled spell cast that turn to deal increased damage equal to the amount rolled. This does not apply to area of effect spells such as fireball.
Cloud of Mist
Starting at 10th level, you can transform into a cloud of mist once per long rest as an action for one minute, provided you aren't in sunlight. This misty form allows you to easily traverse areas and makes you invulnerable to all damage aside from radiant or from silvered weapons. You can use your bonus action to end your form. If you end your turn in sunlight, your misty form disappears and you return to your original form
Additionally, you can spend your reaction to use this feature to prevent an attack from hitting you. You cannot use this if the attack is radiant or from silvered weapons, or if you are in sunlight.
Insatiable Thirst
At 14th level, you now fully embrace your new vampiric abilities, turning you into a pseudo-vampire during your Blood Thirst. When you activate your Blood Thirst, you gain the following benefits:
- Your Blood Thirst no longer ends until you drink the blood of another creature.
- If you are reduced to 0 health points, you instead transform into your misty form, and can reform into your original self the next turn with 1 health point. However, if you are reduced to 0 health points by radiant damage, silvered weapons, or if you are reduced to 0 health points while you are in direct sunlight, you will instead turn into ash and die. You can also die this way if your heart is destroyed.
- You gain 1 legendary resistance. This allows you to turn a failed saving throw that you make into a success.
