Oath of The Cosmic Roach

The Oath of The Cosmic Roach is one seldom taken, and very few are aware of its existence. Those who take this oath swear loyalty to The Cosmic Roach, an entity shrouded in mystery that exists somewhere in the cosmos unseen, but gives great rewards to those who take this oath to heart. Paladins of The Cosmic Roach seek to keep hope and joy alive in the world, and face danger with an unshakable will.

Tenets of The Cosmic Roach

• Adapt to Adversity: Times can get tough, but you can persevere through the worst of it and come out a stronger person.
• Stand Strong: Even in the face of danger, you must press on and remain unshakable.
• Improvise: There's a solution to every problem, you just have to be creative enough and look at it from a unique perspective to see it.
• Find Joy in Sadness: Life has many hardships, but there's always a spark of joy somewhere to be found. Find that spark and kindle it to ensure happiness endures in the world.

Channel Divinity

The Swarm: As an action, you can summon a swarm of cockroaches from somewhere in the cosmos for one minute. You can use a bonus action to command the swarm to attack any creature within a range of 25ft or to move the same amount. Damage dealt by the swarm is a number of d6 equal to your proficiency bonus, which is also added to the attack roll. At Level 20 the swarm's range increases to 40ft.

Exoskeleton: As an action, you can summon the power of The Cosmic Roach and gain resistance to every type of damage for two turns. During this time, saving throws involving AOE damage can be fully avoided on a success, and damage is halved on a failure.
