Base Class: Monk
The Monk of the Long Form meditates at Dawn. The Forms he takes determine the benefits he gains during the day. The Monk may gain Ki points up to his Monk Level plus his WIS ability modifier.
Forms of the Celestial Patron
At Dawn, the Monk may spend an Hour taking on the forms of different Wild Patrons. You may take on any form a number times up to your ki points, consuming all of your ki points.
- Form of the Tiger - Your attacks deal 1 additional damage. The Monk may only benefit from this Form up to his Proficiency Modifier.
- Form of the Turtle - The Monk gains 1 AC. The Monk may only benefit from this Form up to his Proficiency Modifier.
- Form of the Sloth - The Monk heals for his Hit Die + Constitution Modifier.
- Form of the Crane - The Monk gains the ability to attack a creature that has failed an attack against him using his reaction.
- Form of the Stallion - The Monks movement is increased by 5ft. If the Monk dashes, he gains an additional 5 ft of movement.
When the has 11 levels in this class, the monk gains 4forms.
- Form of the Monkey - For every Ki point spent on Form of the Monkey, for 1 turn you may have Martial Arts gain 2 additional attack.
- Form of the Dog - You may choose a skill for every Ki Point you spend on Form of the Dog. Disadvantage may not be imposed on the chosen skill.
- Form of the Bull - You receive 1 less damage for every Ki point spent up to Modifiers of the oncoming source of damage.
- Form of the Eagle - Gain 100ft normal vision, 15ft dark vision, 5ft True Vision.
When the Monk has 17 levels in this class, the gains 3 more forms.
- Form of the Dragon - Choose a damage type; you are resistant to the chosen damage.
- Form of the Koi - You may roll a d4. You may save the result. At any point, you may use the result to add or subtract the result of a check using the saved result in an event involving you.
- One True Form - Increase any Ability Score by 1.
The effects of the Form remain until the next Dawn or until he is knocked unconscious.
Reform
The Monk regains a Ki point every time he lands a successful attack. The Monk may benefit from this effect up to his Monk Level + his Wisdom Ability Modifier until the next Dawn.
Kaio-Ken
Upon regaining Ki points to his limit, the Monk explodes with great might. The Monk deals Radiant Damage amounting to his Maximum amount of Hit Die to all creatures around him in a 15 ft radius. Creatures may make a Dex saving throw, on a successful save, they take half damage.
Master of the Forms
Performing and meeting certain requirements for the forms allows the Monk access to extra feats of strength.
- Form of the Tiger (3 Ki points): The Monk gains +3 to initiative.
- Form of the Turtle (3 Ki points): The Monk gains advantage on STR, DEX and CON saving throws.
- Form of the Stallion (3 Ki points): Reform grants 2 Ki points in 1 Ki point per successful attack.
- Form of the Crane: Attacks the Monk performs outside of his turn have Advantage.
- Form of the Sloth (3 Ki points): The Monk gains Temporary Health equal to the amount healed. In addition, the Monk gains Maximum Hit Points equal to his Constitution Modifier times the amount of Ki points dedicated to the Form of the Sloth.
- Form of the Monkey (4 Ki points): The Monks Dex Modifier has no cap. Every point dedicated to the Form of the Monkey grants 1 Dexterity up to his Proficiency.
- Form of the Eagle (4 Ki points): The Monk gains the Alert Feat. The Monk gains the Observant Feat.
- Form of the Bull (4 Ki points): The Monk can not be restrained, knocked back, knocked prone, pinned or strangled by creatures equal in size to the monk through nonmagical means.
- Form of the Dog (4 Ki points): The Monk can not be Charmed, Frightened or put to Sleep.
- Form of the Koi (7 Ki points): The Monk gains advantage on all Skill Checks.
- Ones True Form (7 Ki Points): Proficient in all tools, instruments and professions. Can understand all languages. Can not be deceived.
- Form of the Dragon (7 Ki points): The Monks attacks deal an additional Weapon Die.
