Base Class: Paladin
The Oath of the Lands is made with one idea. You exist for the living and the land they live on.
Gods are removed from the material plane and exist on a different time scale. This leaves them ignorant of the conflicts of the material plane, and willingly absent in disputes that arise.
By taking this Oath, a paladin makes a commitment to swear against the gods and godhood, leaving behind thoughts of the afterlife.
- Protector of the Land: Protect Gaeleas from influences that work to destroy it.
- Diplomat of the People: Guard times of peace and work to end times of war.
- Loyalty: Your word is your bond. Without loyalty, oaths and laws are meaningless.
Oath Spells
You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed in the Oath of Conquest Spells table. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how oath spells work.

Channel Divinity
You gain two new Channel Divinity options
Defender’s Advantage: As a reaction to getting targeted by a weapon attack, all weapon attacks against you until your next turn have disadvantage.
Turn the Tide: As a bonus action, you can bolster injured creatures with your Channel Divinity. Each creature of your choice that can hear you within 30 feet of you regains hit points equal to 1d6 + your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1) if it has no more than half of its hit points. A creature with 0 hit points can benefit from this effect. This ability has no effect on undead or constructs.
Heavy Presence
Starting at 7th level, You emit an aura that gives your enemies pause. While you are not incapacitated, an enemy creature within 10 feet of you is considered to be in magically difficult terrain.
When you reach 18th level in this class, the range of the aura increases to 30 feet.
An Unending Task
Gaeleas knows no rest from outside incursion. Every 1000 years the threat is heightened and a knight of Gaeleas must be present to stop the destructive forces.
Starting at 15th level, when you are reduced to 0 hit points and are not killed outright, you can choose to drop to 1 hit point instead. Once you use this ability, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
Additionally, you suffer none of the drawbacks of old age, and you can’t be aged magically.
Unyielding Knight
At 20th level, you fully embody what is expected of a knight of Gaeleas. As an action, you gain the following benefits for 1 minute:
- You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
- Your movement speed cannot be reduced, and effects that would move you fail to do so.
- Enemy creatures within 15 feet of you have disadvantage on saving throws against your paladin spells and Channel Divinity options.
