Using a sharp mind and the initiative to follow through with decisions, the Legate is able to strike at critical areas of an opponent, crippling their ability to fight. A fighter who takes on the mantle of a Legate may not be the quickest battlefield tactician, but is able nonetheless to dominate battles of attrition and shift the flow of battle in their favor.
