Wizard
Base Class: Wizard
  1. a variety of magic created by the slave mages of Ovudora-Kreodo. they seeked freedom from their chains but also survival through harsh conditions and the ability to fight while even beat down and weakened. wizards of this tradition will find themselves hardier to damage from outside sources and also are able to extend their spell casting beyond that of what most wizards can do.

Slave's Will

at 2nd level, your body has been beaten and bloodied countless times in your life and for that you are sturdier then you may seem. you gain resistance to one damage type out of slashing, piercing, or bludgeoning. and also proficiency in constitution saving throws against forceful movement effects or being knocked prone.

Slave's Desire

  1. at 2nd level, you through much bloody casting of your spells have learned how to turn hp into spell slots. you can temporarily drain your max hp to cast spells even when you dont have spell slots left. you can only use this feature 4 times per long rest. each spell slot level costs double its level in your hp to cast with. for example a 1st level spell slot would temporarily drain your max hp by 2 while a 9th level spell slot would drain your max hp by 18. if your hp hits 0 thanks to this feature you have disadvantage on death saving throws.

Burdening Past

starting at 6th level, you have accepted the past as a part of you and lean into the hardiness you gain from it. your hit die becomes a d8 from this level forward(treat as if multiclassing). if your hp is under your original max all spells deal an extra 1d8 damage if using Slave's Desire to cast them. as you stay close to death most of your life you have grown accustomed to the powers of death, you gain resistance to necrotic damage.

Freedom's Reach

Starting at 10th level, youve learned to prove your mettle in spellcasting. when you use Slave's Desire you can freely upcast spells up to the 5th level using the hp cost of the spell level 1 lower then your choice. you can use this feature 6 times per long rest.

Slave's Resolution

Starting at 14th level, your constant casting of spells using your own lifeblood has let you channel magic to a greater degree. your 1st level, 2nd level, and 3rd level spell slot total is doubled. but your Slave's Desire hp cost is now three times the original level. 1st level spells costing 3 hp now and so on. if under half hp and using Slave's Desire your spells now deal an additional 2d8 damage.
