Jeff’s, or The Jeff, avatar is one of a ten foot long cockroach. Jeff currently resides in Karz'zad, the plane of insanity. Jeff’s ability to create pocket dimensions at will keeps others from knowing his true wealth and power. These pocket dimensions also make stealing from Jeff an impossible task. Once per Millennia, Jeff comes down and blesses a single individual to breed. In exchange for unimaginable power, Jeff claims their soul into Kar'zac and breeds with them before eating them, devouring their soul forever
As a greater deity Jeff is more powerful than most gods, although he doesn't really care about anything. His followers are expected to maintain a level of chaos in their daily lives. Jeff is known to grant blessings to those that amuse him or whom agree to be his agents of chaos. The below are the blessings he has been known to bestow:
Cockroach Swarm: Twice per long rest you can point to a being within ten feet of you and as a bonus action you summon swarm of one hundred cockroaches to appear on the being. For the next minute, this beings attacks are at disadvantage as it attempts to swat away at the swarm.
Blessing of The Jeff: Treat this blessing the same as the spell Death Ward. Only works once per long rest.
Speak to the Roach: Treat this as a 1st level Druid spell Speak with Animals, but the only animals that you can communicate with using this blessing are bugs. For this blessing all non-cockroach insects have a 5 INT and cockroaches have an INT of 10. This blessing can be used once per long rest.
Capture Soul: Once per long rest you can point to a living being within 20 feet and their soul will fly into a nearby container and be trapped there.
Drive Insane: Everything within 120 feet gets sucked into Karz'zad and gets turned into an insane being
Blessing of the Trickster
Starting when you choose this domain at 1st level, you can use your action to touch a willing creature other than yourself to give it advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks. This blessing lasts for 1 hour or until you use this feature again.
Channel Divinity: Cochroach Swarm
Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to summon a swarm of 100 cockroaches on a target of your choice.
You point to a being within ten feet of you and as a bonus action you summon a swarm of one hundred cockroaches to appear on the being. The swarm lasts for 1 minute, or until you lose your concentration (as if you were concentrating on a spell). As a bonus action, you can change the target of the swarm up to 30 ft., but it must remain within 120 ft. of you. When a target is being swarmed you have advantage on attack rolls against that creature and the creature's attacks are at disadvantage as it attempts to swat away the swarm.
Channel Divinity: Cloak of Shadows
Starting at 6th level, you can use your Channel Divinity to vanish.
As an action, you become invisible until the end of your next turn. You become visible if you attack or cast a spell.
Capture Soul
At 8th level, Jeff grants you the ability to trap souls. When a humanoid within 20 feet of you dies, their soul is sucked into a nearby container of your choice, and trapped there eternally, until you have destroyed the container, or until you have used their soul 6 times.
While you have a soul inside the cage, you can exploit it in any of the ways described below. You can use a trapped soul up to six times. Once you exploit a soul for the sixth time, it is released, and the spell ends. While a soul is trapped, the dead humanoid it came from can’t be revived.
Steal Life. You can use a bonus action to drain vigor from the soul and regain 2d8 hit points.
Query Soul. You ask the soul a question (no action required) and receive a brief telepathic answer, which you can understand regardless of the language used. The soul knows only what it knew in life, but it must answer you truthfully and to the best of its ability. The answer is no more than a sentence or two and might be cryptic.
Borrow Experience. You can use a bonus action to bolster yourself with the soul’s life experience, making your next attack roll, ability check, or saving throw with advantage. If you don’t use this benefit before the start of your next turn, it is lost.
Eyes of the Dead. You can use an action to name a place the humanoid saw in life, which creates an invisible sensor somewhere in that place if it is on the plane of existence you’re currently on. The sensor remains for as long as you concentrate, up to 10 minutes (as if you were concentrating on a spell). You receive visual and auditory information from the sensor as if you were in its space using your senses.
A creature that can see the sensor (such as one using see invisibility or truesight) sees a translucent image of the tormented humanoid whose soul you caged.
Drive Insane
At 17th level, Jeff blesses you with the ability to suck everything within 120 feet into Karz'zad. Targets must first make a Strength saving throw against your spell DC, or they are sucked into Karz'zad. If they are sucked into Karz'zad, they must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell DC or be turned into an insane being.
