Salvation Through Pain

Pain, such a simple feeling that one has when your blade slices through their skin, when your magic singes their flash or when your mace crushes through their bones. But for you, it is way more than just a simple feeling. It is what powers and fuels your connection with Loviatar, the Goddess of Pain. It is also the source of your power and the more suffering you inflict, the more carnage you can cause with your spells.
When you select this pact at level 1, you gain the ability to extract the raw and pure Essence of Pain from your foe to empower your magic. Every time you deal damage to a creature that is not Construct or Elemental, you may add points of Torment to your pool of Torment. One point of Torment is equal to one point of damage you caused with your attacks. For this ability to work the source of this damage has to be either a weapon attack or a Cantrip. The maximum amount of Torment you can store is equal to your Warlock level x 10.
This Torment can be used to fuel your spells. As you cast a spell you may declare that you are using your points of Torment instead of a spell slot. This has to be said before you do attack roll. You consume used up Torment points even when the spell fails or misses. For each level of the spell, you wish to cast as you have to sacrifice 10 points of Torment. Torment can be stored for up to 10 minutes before its essence fades and is no longer of any use to you.

Tools of the Trade

Along with the wisdom bestowed upon you by your Goddess, you also learned where to aim and what tools to use. Starting at level one you gain proficiency with Whips, Flails and Net. You also gain an advantage on Intimidation checks when inflicting pain on others.

Revel in Pain

Through pain, you found Salvation in your Goddess, and now it's your god-given task to deliver this Salvation unto others. As you gather power you are able to wield and weave the Torment into a more powerful tool than before allowing you to deliver punishment, or bolster your allies. Starting at level 6 the Torment you harvest can now be utilized in new ways.

Whenever you wish to spend your Torment you may use the following options:
Cull the Weak
- By spending the amount of Torment equal to the spell´s level you may impose a disadvantage on the required saving throw.
Clarity through Pain
- You may spend 25 points of Torment to attempt to free yourself from any condition except for Exhausted, Unconcious or Petrified
Ignore Pain
- You may spend any amount of Torment you have left up to gain temporary hit points equal to half the amount of Torment spent always rounded up for 1 minute.
Flagellation
- As a reaction, whenever you take damage you may use Torment to reduce the amount. This amount is always 5 points of Torment per 1 point of damage.
Pain beyond Imaginations
- You may increase the range of any spell that isn't a touch range by expending 10 points of Torment per 10 feet of extra range

Harvest the Suffering

Pain is a gift that should be shared by all equally. It's not just the enemies suffering that can now empower you. Starting at level 10, whenever a creature that is friendly to you takes damage of any sort, you are able to harvest part of it. As a reaction, roll an X sided dice where the X equals the amount of damage taken by the ally. The result is the amount of Torment you obtain.
In addition, your Goddess now allows you to fully grasp every bit of that wonderful suffering one might feel, even should they be immune to said damage. As a result, when damage would be halved or reduced to 0, you still gain the full amount of Torment as if it didn't have any.

The Ultimate Pleasure

Through pain, you found salvation and are able to bring the last reckoning upon your foes. Whenever you cast a spell through your Torment, you may freely change the type of damage, you ignore any cover creature might have and you can be disadvantaged on spell cast. Should spell require Concentration, you are able to concentrate on another spell as well.

Additionally, Whenever you accept Torment, you gain temporary hp equal to your Charisma modifier times your proficiency modifier.
