Base Class: Barbarian
Of decent of Berserker, Path of the Brute is a brutal path but kinder path than its predecessor. Barbarian Brutes are known to be brutal in their ways of fighting but also present with their mind. Calm and levelheaded with a vicious rage of brutal savagery, is the Path of the Brute.
Brutality
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can go into a brutal rage. If you do so, for the duration of your rage you can make a single melee weapon attack as a bonus action on each of your turns after this one. When attacking with Brutality, the Rage Damage is double, but only during the Bonus Action. When your rage ends, you lose 5 Hit Points times the number of levels you have.
Present Mind
Beginning at 6th level, you can’t be charmed or frightened while or 1 minute after raging. If you are charmed or frightened when you enter your rage, the effect is suspended for the duration of the rage.
War Roar
Beginning at 10th level, you can use a bonus action to frighten enemies within your reach. As a bonus action, you can let out an especially menacing roar. Creatures of your choice within 10 feet of you that can hear you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or become frightened of you until the end of your next turn. The DC of the save equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Fists of Iron
Starting at 14th level, when you take damage from a creature that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to make an Unarmed attack (+ 1d20 of Bludoening Damage) against that creature.
