Base Class: Monk

Through focused breathing, Hamon users are able to harness the life-force of the Earth to change the world around them. Be warned, Hamon cannot be used to destroy but only to create and change. 

Hamon Breathing

Starting at level 3, you must use Hamon breathing to gain ki points. As an action, you can gain 3 ki points through Hamon breathing, and 1 ki points on a bonus action. Ki points gained this way fade away after 1+CON modifier minute(s) of not being used, and have a cap of your proficiency bonus+4. 

Rolling a 10 or lower in initiative allows you enough time to use Hamon breathing, giving you 4 points on your turn.

There is no limit as to how many times you can use Hamon breathing a day.

You always have 1 ki point even without breathing, and do not regain until you take a short rest.

You cannot use Hamon breathing if are suffocating, and you cannot use Hamon breathing in any space lacking air unless a pocket of air is created.

Zoom Punch

Starting at level 6, you can dislocate your joints to extend the reach of your attacks. As a bonus action, spend 1 ki point to double the range of an attack. Additionally, add 1d8 radiant damage to your attack. This attack must be made unarmed or with a simple or martial weapon. D

This may also be used in nonlethal to grab/ interact with objects such as doors, levers, ledges etc..

Hamon Punches

Starting at level 11, you can empower your punches with Hamon energy. 

Sendo Hamon Overdrive - As an action, you can spend 1 or more (maximum of 4) ki points to empower your next unarmed strike with Sendo. When striking with Sendo, you can pass the damage through any barrier such as a wall of door, living creature/object such as an animal or a tree, anything that was once living such as wood or bone, or any metal. Your target must be within 5 feet of the material you are striking Sendo with to take damage. Additionally, Sendo does not harm the material that is being used to pass the damage. Sendo adds ki points spent d8 radiant damage to your unarmed strike damage.  The target must make a saving throw equal to 13+ ki points spent. On a successful save, the opponent takes half damage. 

Sunlight Yellow Overdrive - As an action, you can spend 1 or more (max of 4) ki points to empower your next flurry of blows with Sunlight Yellow Overdrive. For every ki points spent, flurry of blows is repeated. Every time flurry of blows repeats, the target may make a saving throw equal to 13 + ki points spent. On a successful save, all following flurry of blows fail. 

Scarlett Red Overdrive - As a reaction to getting grappled or hit with a melee attack, you can spend 1 ki point to deal the same amount of damage back to your attacker as radiant damage.

The Stand

Starting at level 17 As an action, you can use 5 ki points to summon a physical manifestation of Hamon, A Stand. The Stand can be one of the following listed, and is chosen after a long rest.

Hermit Purple - Gain expertise is insight, perception, and investigation when making a corresponding check with a map, clock, letter, or bag of flour. Can be summoned for 2 checks every long rest.

Magician’s Red - Gain the Firebolt cantrip, and can cast it 3 times. Can cast Fireball once. Once Summoned, lasts until all cantrip and spell uses are depleted.

Hierophant Green - Gain the Find Familiar spell, and the Charm Person spell. Once summoned, lasts until your next long rest. Can only be summoned once.

Star Platinum - You have advantage on all hit rolls and damage rolls made with unarmed strike. Once summoned, Lasts for 10 minutes, or 3 rounds of combat. can only be summoned once.
