Pact Of the Infinite

Xeras, the Infinite, a devil whose name appears in whispers in ancient texts, not a lord of the nine hells, and not a mere pawn of those above him, his nature is unknown. He lurks in the corners of existence, stalking the material plane for his own purposes, that being anything from a nefarious goal, his own entertainment, or simply because he takes enjoyment in meddling in the affairs of mortals. 

Referring to Xeras as "him" is wrong in truth, Xeras is more like a "they", a collection of near infinite voices and souls that make up one being, if you listen closely, these voices speak in unison when he does, and may speak on their own in moments of fevered excitement or anger. 

As a warlock of Xeras, your goals will often involve whatever the whims of your patron are, sometimes he will simply instruct a warlock to go about their business, finding joy in little more than one under his influence existing in the material plane, you may be a pawn for a greater goal, one chosen as a champion, or a stepping stone to reach others who are more useful to him. 

 

Eldritch Weapons

Xeras grants gifts to all those who follow him, this appears as a sign of good faith, but it is in truth a way for him to keep track of his warlocks, much like a brand.

Starting at 1st level. You may expend a spell slot to enhance your weapons , they  will deal 1d6 extra force damage for the next five rounds. 

At 6th level, this is increased to 2d6, and 10th level, it is increased to 3d6, and at 14th level it is increased to 4d6, however, the cost to activate it increases each time by one spell slot, you may choose to activate it at a lower level. 

The weapons may become different in shape, size or design to match their user. And are +1 weapons 

These weapons can act as arcane focuses 

Guiding Whispers

Xeras is made of a million consciousnesses. Innumerable, unending, undying. 

This ability is unlocked at 6th level. 

When this ability is used on a trap or puzzle, it will hint towards the solution 

If used in conversation, you may reveal how the other person feels, if they are lying, or use the whispers to help you convince them. Gaining advantage to persuasion, intimidation, or deception checks. If used in combat, you may confuse an enemy, frightening them (Wis save = to your spell casting ability), or have them reveal an enemies weak points, giving you advantage on your next attack. For combat it is considered a bonus action. 

This ability can be used once per day, but upgrades to twice per day at 10th level. 

Reveal Infinity

Starting at 10th level. When this ability is used, you may reveal infinity in a 10ft area around you for the next two rounds. This appears as if you and the area around you were suddenly inside a kaleidoscope

Creatures who attack you or any other creature inside the aura while this is active have disadvantage on their attack roll. Creatures who begin their turn within the aura must succeed on a Wisdom save equal to your spellcasting ability or become frightened of you until the effect ends. Allies must also make this wisdom save if they begin their turn inside the aura. 

This effect does not work on creatures with true-sight. 

This ability has two charges per day, you regain these charges on a long rest. It is considered an action. 

Infinity Manifest

Some who attempt to understand infinity are driven to madness, others to suicide, some are simply killed outright, the knowledge being too much for them to handle. 

Starting at 14th level, choose a creature who can hear and understand you within 60ft.

A creature affected by this ability must make a Wisdom save = to your spellcasting ability or take 10d10 + charisma modifier psychic damage and be stunned, or half of that and are not stunned on a successful save.

This will not work on aberrations, as their alien minds may better comprehend infinity.

This ability has one charge, which is regained on a long rest. It is considered an action.
