Base Class: Bard
Ventriloquism is the art of speaking out loud without moving your mouth or face. The word, ventriloquist, comes from the Latin that literally means, speak from the stomach. A skilled ventriloquist will “throw” his or her voice to appear to come from elsewhere, usually from a dummy or puppet.
Bonus Proficiencies
When you join the College of Ventriloquism at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in deception and your proficiency bonus is doubled when you use that skill
Art of Ventriloquism
Also at 3rd level, you learn how to use a puppet for your act. You can make a dummy in a ritual that takes an hour with 5 gold worth of materials. the materials can be whatever you'd like (with DM approval) and the dummy can take whatever form you'd like. While wielding your dummy your hand is considered free for all purposes such as; casting spells, grappling creatures, and reloading weapons, but you cannot wield a weapon or a shield in that hand. Attacking with your dummy is considered an unarmed strike and a simple melee weapon that has the finesse property. Its damage die is equal to your bardic inspiration die and does your choice of bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage based on the design when you create the dummy.
You can also inspire yourself using a bonus action by talking through your dummy. all the normal rules of your bardic inspiration still apply
Extra Attack
You can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. Moreover, you can cast one of your cantrips in place of one of those attacks.
Puppet Master
Your time spent perfecting your craft has brought you knowledge of how to enhance your dummies. You learn how to modify the materials used to grant additional benefits. You can use 25 gold of materials and 1 hour of time in a ritual to create a dummy that when used to attack can have any damage type (decided when you create the dummy).
Furthermore you have learned to control them while not having them on your hand. As an action you can throw out 3 of your dummies and control them as pets. For the next 10 minutes they will follow you or move where you tell them to go (at no action) and obey your commands. As a bonus action you can order them to attack a target. They use the same attack modifier to hit and deal the same damage as if it was on your hand still. They are tiny, have 60 Hitpoints, and share your stats and proficiencies and can make a single attack. if they are dropped to 0 Hitpoints their stuffing is torn out from them and they cannot be used. you also cannot harvest the resources used in the creation from them.
