Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

There are beings out there who are gifted with special abilities whether they want them or not. Some are born with these abilities while others are cursed with them. Either way, you are given the ability to take the souls of creatures and make them, and their abilities, a part of you.

Soul Bound

At 1st level, you can absorb the soul of a creature you dealt the finishing blow to, granting you permanent hit points based on their size. Tiny/small +1, medium +3, large +5, gargantuan +10 (creatures/non-living creatures without souls such as constructs do not apply).

Soul Searching

At level 1, your new ability gives you a new form of hunger as it drives you to search for more creatures to steal their souls and merge with your own. You gain advantage on perception checks against hidden creatures. (creatures/non-living creatures without souls such as constructs do not apply).

Know Thy Enemy

Starting at 6th level, when you have assisted in killing a humanoid creature and absorb their soul, you may take on their form until you either dispel it or you have taken damage. While you are disguised as the humanoid creature, you gain advantage on deception checks and can understand/speak the same languages they knew. At 14th level, you also gain advantage on rolls the humanoid creature you have taken form as had proficiency on.

Soul Tear

At 14th level, when you are 5 feet away from a creature, you can spend 3 sorcerery points to grab the creature and attempt to rip a part of their soul out of their body. The creature must make a constitution saving throw, if they fail they will take 3d6 necrotic damage and you will take a feature/ability of theirs at random (e.g. if a dragon were to fail you have a random chance to take their legendary resistance, breath attack, or their multi-attack), if they pass they only take half the damage. At 18th level, This ability will deal 6d6 necrotic damage instead and you will gain the extra ability to heal the amount of damage you dealt with this feature. (Creatures/non-living creatures such as constructs are unaffected by this).

Window to your Soul

Beginning at 18th level, you can spend 5 sorcery points to target one creature as a bonus action and lowering their physical defenses to your next attack. The following order for this feature goes immunity-> resistance, resistance-> none, none-> vulnerable. If you reduced a creature to being vulnerable to your next attack, if it is a single target attack/spell, you deal x4 damage. If it is an area of effect spell, you deal x2 damage and they have disadvantage on the saving throw.
