Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

In civilization's relentless march for progress, sacrifices had to be made. Chief among them was an ever-increasing encroachment into lands previously home to nature and her primal companions. For some the response was fear, but for others it was anger. Reclaimers are barbarians who seek to push back the forces of civilization and restore balance, using nothing but their own bodies and nature's power.

Taking inspiration from druids as well as the mighty treants, reclaimers seek to balance offense and defense in their mission to restore balance to the world. They strive to embody the forest in order to restrain enemies and protect their friends. Generally calm and sometimes seen as aloof, a reclaimer's true power is revealed when they fly into a rage at the sight of injustice.

Druidic Attunement

In choosing this path, you dedicate yourself to oneness with nature in all ways. At 3rd level when you adopt this path, you learn Druidic, the secret language of druids. You can speak the language and use it to leave hidden messages. You and others who know this language automatically spot such a message. Others spot the message’s presence with a successful DC 15 Wisdom (Perception) check but can’t decipher it without magic.

Additionally, you can cast the druidcraft at will.

Wooden Fists

You have begun your transformation into a mighty defender of the forest. At 3rd level, when you adopt this path, wood and bark grow to cover your hands and arms. You can roll a d4 in place of the normal damage of your unarmed strike. This increases to a d6 at level 5, a d8 at level 11, and a d10 at level 18. When you use the Attack action with an unarmed strike on your turn, you can make one additional unarmed strike as a bonus action. Additionally, while raging, you can attempt to grapple an enemy after successfully attacking them.

Forest Fighting

Your druidic power flows through you, and you can further harness it to assist you in combat. Starting at level 6, your unarmed strikes count as magical for the purposes of overcoming resistance, and your reach with them increases to 10 feet. This increases to 15 feet at level 17.

Strong Roots

Like the mighty oak, you have become sturdy and nearly indestructible. Starting at level 11, your unarmed strikes deal double damage to structures and constructs, and you cannot be moved or knocked prone against your will.

Tree Form

Bark and greenery have grown to cover your entire body, and you have become nearly as much a tree as anything else. Starting at 14th level, you you can assume the form of an ancient force of nature, taking on an appearance you choose. When you aren't moving, you are difficult to distinguish from a regular tree. You also age more slowly. For every 10 years that pass, your body ages only 1 year. Furthermore, at the start of each of your turns while raging, you regain hit points equal to 5 + your Constitution modifier if you have no more than half of your hit points left. You don't gain this benefit if you have 0 hit points.
