Base Class: Fighter
Fighters who follow the Chivalrous Spirit seek to uphold a personal pride or honor through good sportsmanship and respect. They channel their good deeds into magical abilities, but make sure they thank their opponents afterwards for the good fight.
Graciously Accept
When you take this subclass at 3rd level, your honorable nature is beloved by the magic that effects you. Whenever you receive healing from any magical source, you gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier.
When you reach 10th level in this class, you now instead gain temporary hit points equal to twice your Charisma modifier. When you reach 18th level in this class, you now gain temporary hit points equal to 3 times your Charisma modifier.
Fair Fight
Starting at 7th level, your very presence emphasizes honor among everyone around you. All creatures within 20 feet of you lose their resistance to nonmagical slashing, piercing and bludgeoning damage, and instead resist such damage if they are normally immune to it.
At 18th level, this range increases to 50 feet and does not remove resistances from your allies.
Karmic Defense
Also at 7th level, the magic around you is ready to punish those who exploit your movement to attack. Whenever a creature makes an opportunity attack against you, they take Psychic damage equal to your Charisma modifier, regardless of if the attack hits or misses.
At 18th level, this damage increases to twice your Charisma modifier and you can make one attack against the creature in return.
Politely Decline
Starting at 10th level, you are applauded by the Weave in all your shows of respect. You gain immunity to the Frightened and Charmed conditions, and anytime you are subjected to an effect that would attempt to Charm or Frighten you you gain temporary hit points equal to twice your Charisma modifier.
Force of Honor
Starting at 15th level, you can use your honor to attack as well as defend. When you hit a creature with 2 or more attacks on 1 turn, you can deal bonus Psychic damage equal to the number of temporary hit points you have to them. Doing this expends all of your temporary hit points, as though you had taken damage and lost them.
Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you complete a long rest. Unless you have reached 18th level, when you can use it a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier.
At 18th level, this only expends half (rounded down) of your temporary hit points but still deals the full damage.
Body of Chivalry
Beginning at 18th level, you are practically the favorite pupil of the forces of good. Your other Chivalrous Spirit features are enhanced, and you can gain the ability to use their benefits to deadly effect. As a reaction, you can expend any number of temporary hit points you have and move that many feet. You can use this movement to move up or down through the air without falling, but if you run out of movement in the air you will fall.
Additionally, anytime you use your Action Surge, Second Wind or Indomitable features, you gain temporary hit points equal to 3 times your Charisma modifier.
