Monk
Base Class: Monk

Within you a darkness lingers, allowing you to do things no monk should have the capacity to do. Harnessing these powers in conjunction with you martial art prowess, allows you to deal devastating damage to your enemies, while finding ways to protect those you are for.

But where did this magic come from? Why is it so similar to the mysterious magic used by the order.

And why does it feel so familiar?

Abyssal Technique

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can harness a dark magic from within to and unleash it upon your foes. Whenever you hit a creature with one of the attacks granted by your Flurry of Blows, you can impose one of the following effects on that target:

  • It must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.
  • It must make a Strength saving throw. If it fails, you can push it up to 15 feet away from you.
  • It  must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or become blinded.

Call of the Void

From within a dark power stirs, a limb of your choice glows black as small dark tendrils grow from the limb. For the spell to be used successfully, the limb must touch a target. The target can be a creature, an object, or a creation of magical force.

A creature targeted by this spell must make a Dexterity saving throw, of a DC 12. On a failed save, the target takes 4d6 force damage, and you will take 1d4 damage, as the tendrils rip from your skin.

When touched the target's flesh will turn dark and begin to flake. If the target is reduced to  0 hit points, the target will crumble to ash, the ash rising into the air before disappearing. A disintegrated creature and everything it is wearing and carrying, except magic items, are reduced to ash. The creature can not be restored to life .

This spell automatically disintegrates a large or smaller nonmagical object or a creation of magical force. If the target is a huge or larger object or creation of force, this spell disintegrates a 10-foot- cube portion of it. A magic item is unaffected by this spell.

Blessing of the Unnamed God

At 6th level, you gain the ability to heal yourself and others using the power of chiropracty! As an action, you or whom you choose can regain hit points equal to three times your monk level. You must finish a long rest before you can use this feature again.

A Mother's Love

Beginning at 11th level, you are able to call upon the dark magic within yourself to protect an individual other than yourself and give yourself additional strength. Using 5 Ki points, you gain the effect A Mother's Love,  conjuring a barrier of dark magic with a radius of 5 ft around an ally of your choosing, with an AC of 15, 30 hit points, and a resistance to piercing and slashing damage from nonmagical weapons. Additionally, any ally downed within the barrier is instantly stabilized, and gains 1d4 hit points, this only applies to downed allies.
While the barrier is up you are able to use the bonus action: A Mother's Will. A Mother's Will allows you to do an additional 1d8 damage while attacking. You do not have to roll to hit for A Mother's Will. A Mother's Will can not be used in conjunction with other bonus actions.

Return to the Depths

You can spend 3 ki points to mark target, creating a black mark on their body, a place of your choosing, the mark lasts for {{classlevel#unsigned}} days. As an action, if the target is within eyesight, you turn yourself into dust, allowing you to move behind the target, no matter the distance, the target must make a DEX saving throw (DC {{savedc:wis}}). If it fails, it is reduced to 0 HP. If it succeeds, it takes 10d10 necrotic damage.
