Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Doomseekers are one of the most deadliest of the dwarven warrior caste. Partly due to the nature in which they fight as well as their mentality. A Doomseeker seeks only one thing, an honourable death. They abandon all sense of defense and seek out the strongest foes, either failing to die and slaying these creatures or successfully fulfilling their oath and dying honourably to the toughest of foes.

No dwarf actively seeks to become a Doomseeker. They are a proud race, and none cope well with failure or a personal tragedy no matter how small. Once they feel a wrong has been done, they will swear the Doomseeker Oath, abandoning their previous lives and marching forth to right these wrongs via an honourable death.

Most if not all Doomseekers will dye their beard and hair a bright orange, and shave their head, save for a strip of hair down the center of their scalp. They will then grease and stiffen this plume till it stands upright, in the shape of a fearsome mohawk.

Dishonoured Dwarf

A Doomseeker seeks an honourable death and nothing else. Wearing armour or hiding behind a shield is not the Doomseeker way.

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you cannot wear any armour (Light, Medium or Heavy) nor can you use a shield.

Giant Slayer

Doomseekers seek out the strongest of foes. In a primitive sense, the bigger the creature, the stronger it is, and Doomseekers will find the largest of these to fight.

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, whenever you attack a creature that is at least one size larger than you, you deal an extra 1d6 weapon damage for each successful hit. This damage increases to 1d8 when you reach 14th level in this class and increases to 1d12 when you reach 20th level in this class.

Survivor

Most Doomseekers die after their first few battles. Those who managed to survive their initial combats in their unarmoured state, learn the joys of combat and are no longer phased by what the world could throw at them. Quite the opposite they're eager, almost hungry for their next fight for that next fight could be their last and they may finally fulfill their oath.

Starting at 6th level in this class, you are immune to the frightened condition. In addition, whilst raging you cannot be charmed. If you have not started raging and have been successfully charmed, as a reaction you can enter rage, cancelling the charmed effect.

Whirlwind Attack

Doomseekers attack with a flurry of attacks at any and all foes with the misfortune to be near them.

Starting at 10th level in this class, you can use your action to make a single melee attack against each creature within 5 feet of you. In addition, if you make use this action and have have a weapon held in your off-hand (Two-Weapon Fighting), you can use your bonus action to also make a single melee attack against each creature within 5 feet of you. Make one attack roll when using Whirlwind Attack and a separate attack role for Whirlwind Attack (Bonus). This one attack roll will be used against each creature.

Counter

Most Doomseekers die after their first several battles, as they rush headlong to a honourable death. Those unlucky enough to survive constant, daily battles, become extremely adept in combat. Rather than just simply taking blow after blow, Doomseekers ensure that every hit they receive, they give back in full.

Starting at 14th level in this class, whenever you receive damage from an attack made by a creature within 5 feet of you, you may use your reaction to make a single melee attack against that creature.
