Monk
Base Class: Monk

These monks learn to dominate the battle field using their Zone of Control.

Zone of Control

3rd-level Way of Control feature

At 3rd level, you create a Zone of Control centered on you that emanates in all directions 15 feet. When you reach certain levels in this class, the size of your Zone of Control increases: at 6th level (20 ft); at 11th (25 ft); and at 17th (30 ft).

Within your Zone of Control, you have advantage of Wisdom(Perception) and Intelligence(Investigation) checks to detect creatures, environmental hazards, and traps.

Additionally, whenever you Shove a creature, you may spend a Ki point to push that creature out of your Zone of Control.

Aggressive Response

3rd-level Way of Control feature

Additionally at 3rd level, whenever a creature moves within your Zone of Control, you may use your reaction to make a single ranged attack or an unarmed attack at that creature. The damage for this attack equals your Martial Arts die + your Dexterity modifier and the damage is the same type as the weapon used.

If you have already used your reaction, you may spend a Ki point to gain an additional reaction that can only be used for this attack. You can only make this attack once on each creature's turn, if you have not already used your reaction on that turn.

Heightened Senses

3rd-level Way of Control feature

Also at 3rd level, you gain Darkvision, if you don't already have it, within your Zone of Control.

Distracting Riposte

6th-level Way of Control feature

At 6th level, whenever a hostile creature within your Zone of Control targets another creature, that is also within your Zone of Control, with a harmful or debilitating ability, attack, or spell, you may use your reaction to make an attack against the hostile creature. If the attack hits, the hostile creature has disadvantage on their attack roll and the target of their attack has advantage on any saving throw from that ability, attack, or spell. The damage for this attack equals your Martial Arts die + your Dexterity modifier and is the same type as the weapon used.

If you have already used your reaction, you may spend a Ki point to gain an additional reaction that can only be used for this attack. You can only make this attack once on each creature's turn, if you have not already used your reaction on that turn.

Vibrational Awareness

6th-level Way of Control feature

Also at 6th level, you gain Tremorsense, if you don't already have it, within your Zone of Control.

Threatening Retort

11th-level Way of Control feature

At 11th level, you may spend 4 Ki points and use your action to cause up to a number of creatures of your choice with your Zone of Control equal to your proficiency bonus to succeed on a Wisdom Saving Throw, DC= 8 + your Wisdom + proficiency bonus, or can only target you with abilities, attacks, or spells and cannot leave your Zone of Control.

Additionally, you gain a bonus to your Armor Class and Saving Throws equal to half of the roll on your Martial Arts die(rounded down) against any abilities, attacks, or spells from creatures within your Zone of Control. Roll the die for each individual ability, attack, or spell.

You may only use this feature once per short or long rest.

Eyes from Within

11th-level Way of Control feature

Also at 11th level, you gain Blindsight, if you don't already have it, within your Zone of Control.

Unyielding Riposte

17th-level Way of Control feature

At 17th level, when a creature misses you with an attack, you may make a single ranged, thrown, or unarmed attack against that creature (no action required). You may only perform this attack if you have not used your reaction on that turn, and the target must be within your Zone of Control.

Sight Beyond Sight

17th-level Way of Control feature

Also at 17th level, you gain Truesight, if you don't already have it, within your Zone of Control.
