Base Class: Monk
Monks that follow the Way of the Inferno channel their inner anger into fiery attacks that cause serious damage to their enemies. Their fighting style embodies fire, a chaotic force that destroys anything in it's way.
Fire Resistance
Starting at 3rd level, you gain resistance to fire damage. At 6th level, you gain immunity to fire damage.
Flaming Fists
Starting at 3rd level, you can use a bonus action to use 2 Ki points and coat your hands in fire for 1 minute. Your unarmed strikes deal an extra 1d4 fire damage during this duration. The damage increases in accordance to your Martial Arts damage.
Unpredictable Style
Your fighting style embodies fire and it's chaos. Starting at 6th level, you ignore the AC increase of shields when making an unarmed strike, and if the target gets an AC bonus from dexterity, the bonus is halved.
Combustion
At 11th level, you can create massive explosions of fire. As an action, you can spend 6 ki points to create a 15 foot radius sphere at a point originating from yourself. All creatures in that radius must make a dexterity saving throw or take 6d8 fire damage, or half on a successful save. You can spend additional Ki points to deal an extra 1d8 damage and increase the radius by 5 feet for every 2 ki points spent.
Flaming Armor
At 17th level, you gain the ability to create an aura of fire around you that burns anything that attacks you. Using a bonus action, you can spend 9 ki points and be cloaked in fire, while cloaked you gain the following benefits:
- Any creature that hits you with a melee attack takes 3d6 fire damage
- Your Flaming Fists ability is active without using ki points or an action, and your normal unarmed damage also becomes fire damage.
- Your range with melee weapons increases by 5 feet
