Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Recoilers draw from their own life force to power their spells, allowing for more attacks and greater damage. But when all is said and done, it all comes back with a vengeance.

Delayed Sacrifice

When casting a spell, roll a d6 for each spell level and a d10 instead of using a spell slot. In a number of rounds equal to the d10, you take damage equal to the total of the d6 (when reading the 0 or 10 on the d10, the damage is taken immediately). This damage cannot be healed until taken, and is referred to as pending damage. Pending damage is always taken at the start of the turn.

At 10th level, you reroll ones on the d6 once, and at 14th level you reroll ones on the d6 until it is no longer a one.

From second level forward, you may spend a sorcery point to remove 1d6 of pending damage as a bonus action. Using an action, you may use as many sorcery points as you'd like to remove 1d6 per sorcerer point of pending damage.

Malice Armor

Starting at 6th level, whenever you have pending damage and are hit by a melee attack, deal damage equal to half your pending damage to the attacker and make a constitution saving throw (DC 15). If you succeed, remove your pending damage. If you fail, take half of your pending damage immediately and remove the remainder.

When you have have pending damage you cannot be stunned or grappled by creatures.

Vengance

At 14th level, once per long rest, when you take damage from a creature, you may roll 2d10 as a percentile dice. If you roll below your character level, reroll the percentile dice and deal that damage to the creature. If the total was above your character level, treat the percentile dice as 2d10 and deal that damage to the creature. Additionally, choose one of the d10 as damage to yourself and the other as the number of rounds it is pending.

Final Ward

Beginning at 18th level, whenever you would take damage, roll a d10. This damage is added to your pending damage for that many turns. This is added after the effects of Malice Armor.
